What this PDF splitter does and who it is for
This tool takes one PDF and gives you back exactly the pages you want. Drop the file in, look through the page thumbnails, then either type a range such as 1-3, 5, 8-10, tick the pages you want individually, or choose a preset: every page as its own file, odd pages only, or even pages only. Download the result as a single combined PDF, or as a ZIP containing one PDF per page.
As with the rest of the studio, the work happens on your own device. The PDF is read into your browser's memory, rebuilt locally and handed straight back to you. Nothing is uploaded, there is no queue, no watermark and no account.
It is built for the everyday admin jobs where a full document is too much: sending a client only their signed page, separating scanned double-sided paperwork into odd and even sets, splitting a bundled statement into monthly files, or pulling the two-page floor plan out of a forty-page brochure before forwarding it.
Because there is no upload, large scanned files are usually faster here than on a conventional online splitter, and the only real limit is your device's memory.

Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is opened and rewritten by your own browser. It never reaches a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, log or leak.
How do I type a page range?
- Use commas for separate pages and hyphens for spans — for example 1-3, 5, 8-10 gives you pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10. Pages outside the document are ignored.
Can I get each page as its own file?
- Yes. Choose 'Every page separately' and download the ZIP — it contains one PDF per page, named after the original file and the page number.
What are odd and even splits for?
- They are most useful after scanning a double-sided stack on a single-sided scanner, where the fronts and backs end up in two separate passes and need to be separated or recombined.
Does splitting reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied across rather than re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Splitting the same report every month?
